Because if you haven't submitted your blog to Technorati, you're really missing out. Technorati is the Internet search engine specifically for searching blogs.
Well, I'm sharing an opportunity that is often used on other blogs and websites. So, if this is new to you... please understand that it's not new to a lot of other people online (if you've never heard of it before... where ya been?).
Oh and by the way, using the tools that I will go into more detail about will entail about 5 minutes (if that!) of your time; you'll need a link, and a thumbnail of your blog (or of an image that depicts it).

Join the "#Cater-Hater Technorati Link Up: Get More Exposure 'Blog Hop' Party" movement for bloggers who want to "get ahead on Technorati", and gain some (or more) Technorati site authority.
What's the point? Doing so will increase your Technorati backlinks, that is -- when you have a Technorati account. Why bother coming to the party? When you're a blogger, Technorati is another great place (search engine) available to help you get your blog in front of more readers. Get enough backlinks (or write a timely, hot topic, attention-getting blog post) and there's a possibility your blog might be chosen and "featured" on the Technorati website.
And let me tell you, it's worth being a part of -- because somewhere buried deep inside the Technorati site (from "back in the day" -- about two and a half years ago, when I was on another list like this [that was starting to get quite massive]; back when I had a Technorati Authority score of 52), I started pulling some pretty good traffic back to CH as a result of having joined that list. I truly belief it helped me also improve my Google Pagerank (from a 1 to a Pagerank 3) too, in what seemed like not that much time at all.
I don't know about you, but I spend a heck of a lot of time working on things for Cater-Hater and kind of don't get around the Net as much as I'd like. I want to see your blogs, learn the "take" on your topic, and at the same time -- see you spread your message!
I'll be honest with you. I live online. I even watch TV shows online (when I actually find the time to do so). In fact, to find out what's going on... if I don't find out from someone sending me an email, when I do find out - it can be a day or two later (because I get engrossed in writing projects). This is why I L.O.V. E. stopping by other blogs! It's inspiring and keeps me going on days when I think to myself, What am I doing this for? And, finding out what your blog is about; you guys help me know what's going on.

I think if we keep talking about the cost of parties (I blog, you write comments), together, maybe we can break down some of the party industry price barriers and shame some of the people who've taken your money and delivered a poor quality product right into growing a conscious and treating you right (nice thought, isn't it?).
Opportunities to be inspired about parties are everywhere. Yet, people looking out for your wallet are few and far between. My goal is to inspire you, causing you to question the way things are that have been the status quo for too long. When we stand together and speak up, we can be a powerful force.
