2011 was another great year for Cater-Hater and it's " Inner Circle Group" subscribers. In addition to our newsletter, we've decided to expand subscriber benefits to include a free 30 day trial membership in our Master Class when we unveil it in 2012.
Earlier this year we launched "Why You Will Love Advertising on Cater-Hater" after receiving inquiries about our ad rates, giving individuals (who are bloggers or have Amazon, Esty, or Ebay online stores) and businesses access to the quarter of a million readers (and growing) who stop by to read our blog. In the last year, we more than doubled the size of our readership, which was exciting to see happen.
We asked you to get involved, becoming a Guest Blogger, and many of you responded. We're happy to announce that we've been bombarded with Guest Blogger Post submissions. Yet, we're not completely proud - we're "behind" in writing back to blog post submitters due to time constraints and receiving an overwhelming response.
In October, we began working on our newest CH Inner Circle Group benefit, a membership site, where members can access even more DIY information and tips and tricks about catering, party planning, event planning, including recipes and more, for free - with an option to upgrade. Cater-Hater is growing and we're doing our best to stay in step with the desires of all of our readers. We're working hard to make membership affordable for everyone, starting at $4.95 a month.
In 2012, we'll do even more with Cater-Hater, making one of the best "party information resources of value" anywhere, even better. So, if you haven't subscribed to Cater-Hater yet, sign up for a free subscription and join the many readers who are already subscribers.
Happy New Year to you all and thank you for reading Cater-Hater,
Pictures of you and your special furry friend, you and your co-workers (for example: catering chefs in kitchen regalia with Santa hats, event planner's making holiday plans by the company Christmas tree, etc.), you wearing reindeer antlers while reading Cater-Hater, you and your family, you and your friends, you indoors, you outdoors...
Whatever you do, make it fun. And, extremely creative.

Join a credit union, occupy ATM's and help stop Wall Street greed - that's what we say.
"Occupy ATM 's"? What's that about?
First, this post is a little different than usual. We've decided to veer off of the subjects we typically cover - such as catering, event planning , party planning, and parties, and share something we think is extremely useful and helpful to Cater-Hater readers.
I doubt that you'll disagree with us, but you might. We'll get right to the point here and just say it, okay?
Banks suck.
You know that we're not the only people who feel that way. And, ever since Cater-Hater has been trading social network stock shares on Empire Avenue, we've often been first to find out about some of the cool, new things happening in technology and the Internet. Case in point, "Occupy ATM's".
To "occupy ATM's", first, involves investing wisely.
We believe that it makes more sense to join a credit union than put your money in a traditional bank, like Bank of America for instance. Credit union membership is a no-brainer, in our humble opinion.
Credit Unions have long been our choice of "banking style" since before the greed of hedge-fund managers and the downfall of our banking system that's lead to the financial collapse of the U.S. A. as a result - ruining our credit rating and the financial systems of other countries worldwide. But here's what we're really excited to tell you...
There's a new app from Open Data Day Bay Area- an ATM finder for credit union-linked cash machines - that allows you to easily make fee-free, cash withdrawals. You can find it at: 99atms.com. Stop by and take a look.
So, if you're sick and tired of being ripped off by big banking institutions, withdraw your money and deposit it into a credit union instead. Remember, when you do this, you've instantly become a member/owner - instead of being just another bank customer.
If you believe in the Open Data Day Bay Area app as much as we do, get involved by dropping organizations like New Bottom Line and others active in campaigns to get money out of big banks and into local credit unions a brief note. Ask them to help further the development of the new Open Data Day Bay Area app, which works on both desktop and mobile browsers.
Using this app, that gives you easy visualization of ATM locations, will hopefully spur the installation of new machines being placed in under-served communities.

I'm an off-premise catering evangelist/outlaw. I'm a passionista. I'm a paradox. I love when a client hires me to oversee their entire event, from start to finish - because I'm an event planner too.
I'm proud to be mom to Petey Wheatstraw, "the devil's son-in-law" - the best damn Chihuahua North of Mexico. I grew up in Rochester, Michigan. I currently live deep in the heart of Texas. And boy, do I ever miss Xochimilco Super Nachos, the fragrance of Fall and fresh cider and donuts at Paint Creek Cider Mill, and eating a Detroit Lafayette Coney Island when the mood hits me.
It's cool of you to stop by. And you know what's even better? Finding out what you have to say! Hit me up with a comment. Hang with me on Twitter (three accounts, you choose; @TheCaterHater, @CarloAtYourServ, or @CarloAtYourSer2). Or, connect with me using the FB gadget or G+ button on the sidebar. For real, I'd be honored if you'd click on either one.
If you want to ask me anything or want to leave a comment, you know the drill; "Contact".
I like people. Especially, people who want the party truth. Talk to me.
