Personified party hosts, male and female alike, are the embodiment of the true partyman - one who styles their party down to the smallest detail, in an elegant, classy way.
If you're unsure about the meaning of true partyman style, think the look and air of a Gentleman's Club, like the 21 Club in Manhattan.
Being a partyman involves a lot more than being the one hosting a good looking party with interesting, smart and funny, good looking guests. And it involves more than great food, gorgeous decor, and fabulous floral arrangements. It's more about being the host that can be counted on as having an attitude reflecting gracious manners and style.
Being a true partyman is being the best you can be - bringing that to your parties and sharing it with your guests.
It's about rediscovering old-school values and manners along with possessing an unselfish pride, intelligence and dignity. It means being satisfied with no less than what you've envisioned for your party - the best that you can afford.
Ultimately, being a great partyman is about being so comfy with yourself that you never need to look down on - or up to - anyone else who invites you to their party.
And in short, being a partyman means shaking off any cynicism that might come your way, being yourself, loving every minute of it, and doing what you can to make sure everyone attending your party is comfortable.

I'm an off-premise catering evangelist/outlaw. I'm a passionista. I'm a paradox. I love when a client hires me to oversee their entire event, from start to finish - because I'm an event planner too.
I'm proud to be mom to Petey Wheatstraw, "the devil's son-in-law" - the best damn Chihuahua North of Mexico. I grew up in Rochester, Michigan. I currently live deep in the heart of Texas. And boy, do I ever miss Xochimilco Super Nachos, the fragrance of Fall and fresh cider and donuts at Paint Creek Cider Mill, and eating a Detroit Lafayette Coney Island when the mood hits me.
It's cool of you to stop by. And you know what's even better? Finding out what you have to say! Hit me up with a comment. Hang with me on Twitter (three accounts, you choose; @TheCaterHater, @CarloAtYourServ, or @CarloAtYourSer2). Or, connect with me using the FB gadget or G+ button on the sidebar. For real, I'd be honored if you'd click on either one.
If you want to ask me anything or want to leave a comment, you know the drill; "Contact".
I like people. Especially, people who want the party truth. Talk to me.
