A few years ago, while in the throes of growing a new party business, I realized that I have an affinity for "office gadgets"; especially new computer gadgets for desktop computers and laptops, and new tech gadgets for office equipment in the printers/scanners/fax machine aisle. I'll even go so far as to look to see if they've made any new technical gadgets out of paper shredders - and other office stuff like that. I know, I know. Like many of you, I'm a die-hard gadget, techie person.
And being a professional caterer and event planner, you know I have to love important new gadgets in the way of new kitchen gadgets.
I even love every minute of reading about, and executing, all of the setup required. It was after setting up things for my last office gadget that a friend called me a "gadget freak". Okay, so it's true. I'll cop to that.
Playing around with new technology electronic gadgets, especially new technology gadgets that are toys is like a waking dream for me.
