The World's Most Expensive Party

Ritterrüstung (suit of armor)- Grandmasters pa...

For obvious reasons, you're not always left with a positive lasting impression because perception isn't always reality.

Well... That sucks, doesn't it? But it's true. We can think somethings going to be good and find out that it sucks. Or we can think that somethings going to be the complete pits and be surprised that it wasn't.

When you're reading this, don't just deduce that this is frivolous and think that it has nothing to do with you. You've been to and had, at least, a party or two.

I've gotten comments from you guys that have sadly gotten jacked around and sold down the river by caterers and party planners that lead you to believe that you would receive highly personalized service. But in the end, they only left a bad (lasting) impression on you.

Lasting impressions can be like a suit of armor; solid, if they're done right.

Sure, there are plenty of caterers and event planners/party planners that talk a good game, telling you how personalized and wonderful their services are.

Then they'll bring you the wrong drink or call you by the wrong name.

Beautiful.

It looks to me like you really need us to prove that we offer wonderfully personalized service and personalized services in a way that's undeniable. Not just tell you about it. Take luxury catering and event planning services.

Have you ever noticed, there aren't a lot of caterer and event planner business owners marketing their businesses to you as "luxury based"?

There's no "tell it and sell it" with that one. Talk about having to prove it. I guess they think committing to luxury is too hard. But actually, luxury is pretty simple.

Because... somethings either luxurious or it's not.

Luxury-based companies offering you luxury services had better understand that, and how the entire luxury-thing works. Because the land of "luxury" isn't just a business slogan designed to get in your ear for you to hear and not understand. You're too smart for that. You know that luxury is pretty much personalized everything or there's nothing to luxuriate in.

Today, showcasing the authenticity of "the experience" is the newest form of true luxury.

I'm just like you when it comes to luxury services and lasting impressions. I hate average. I want terrific. When I'm spending money, the only lasting impression that I receive when I'm being given the wrong drink or being called by the wrong name is a bad one.

So it's like this...
Serve the right drink.
Know the clients name.

It's too bad lasting impressions can't be recycled. Because you never forget, even if you decide to forgive - not at your expense. And the solution to your damaged lasting impression? Well, if they've screwed that up, they've cost you... at a premium.

And putting a price on your impression? Well, that's just cheap.
