It's really funny how things can fall into place. And it's really something how leaps of faith can really pay off. I'm just a die-hard optimist, is all. I just have to believe.
You may have read (somewhere around here, in the past) where I told you that people have been telling me to write FOR YEARS. And that I thought, They're crazy! Write about what?. But it just goes to show that if you listen to what people have to say, and act on it, dreams can and will come true.
Even after listening and being obedient, you might need some type of proof in order to believe it.
On January 1st, 2010, confirmation came when Foodista.com placed Cater-Hater's second blog post on their blog. Only this time, they were extremely generous - they placed our Bacon-Infused Bloody Mary Recipe on the front page of their website.
Around the same time, Melissa (who is truly a Foodista.com wunderkind), suggested that we enter their Best of Food Blogs Cookbook that will be published in Fall 2010 by Andrews McMeel Publishing - a division of Andrews McMeel Universal. So as far as thank you messages go - a simple thank you really doesn't quite seem like enough. We really appreciate the nod.
Cater-Hater Tip: Share your testimonial thank you notes with the folks at Foodista. For those of you that have heard of Foodista.com (that think they're as terrific as we do) soon you'll have the ability to send them thank you messages. They're presently setting up a user testimonial section. It's not ready yet, but they plan to have it up and running any day now. Don't forget to contact them - I'm sure that they'd love to read your thoughtful words for a thank you note!
