New Year's Eve Cheese & Wine Party

Grana Padano

Where will you be on New Year's Eve? Will you be in New York City celebrating with the millions of people who will watch the ball drop in Times Square?

Or will you celebrate at home with loved ones, while dining on a multi-course meal?

If you choose the second option, here's a straight forward New Year's Eve Cheese & Wine Party game plan that can help you.

New Year's Eve Cheese & Wine Party (Nouveau Year' ; & de fromage de s Eve ; Partie de vin)

This ones easy. Make a cheese and fruit buffet. And on a different table, make a dessert and coffee buffet.

Pull out your best bone china - dessert plates, cups and saucers and dine in style. You'll also need your wine glasses and silver serving pieces, along with your dessert forks and spoons. Add a medium size platter or two for the cheeses and fruit. Accompany the wine and cheese with sliced artisan breads and assorted crackers. Prepare a really great salad and set out a bowl of nuts and you're ready to celebrate and ring in the New Year.

Toast to the New Year with a delicious champagne. And top off the night with something decadent and chocolate, with hot coffee and tea.
